Breaking the Rules - Here's My Prices

One of my favorite senior sessions from last fall.

I’m constantly working to further my education, knowledge, client experience- I want to ensure that my clients have the best experience possible and beautiful artwork to cherish for a lifetime!

So, I’ve worked with quite a few mentors over the years since starting my business in early 2019.

The first few mentors taught that we have to hide our luxury pricing from potential clients and show them the value of working with us (what’s all included, how we solve their problems, etc) before divulging our prices.

While I understand the theory and method behind that line of thinking, it’s always bothered me.

It feels shady and quite frankly can be a waste of time for all involved if it’s just not in the budget right now (I’ve been there, too, trust me).

Well, I’ve decided to break the “rules”. I’m about to outline my process and break down my prices for you now.

I used to HATE talking on the phone. It sent my anxiety through the roof. Until I realized how much better it is to talk to people directly to get to know them and discuss details, ideas, and questions over a quick phone call rather than trying to email or message (which can so easily result in miscommunications and forgotten replies). And quite frankly, since I work from home with my toddler, sometimes it’s good to connect and talk to adults, too, haha!

When we talk, we’ll discuss your needs and any ideas or requests for your photoshoot, as well as go over questions, details, and get to know each other a bit. I also love to hear about your animal(s)!

If we’re a good fit to work together, we’ll pick a date and get you booked! I do charge $1,500 to book your session which covers the session fee and includes a $1,000 credit towards ordering your photos and products after your session.


Most clients invest $5,000-6,000 on their artwork and I have options starting at $1,500 and have had some clients invest as much as $20,000-30,000. It all depends on your needs and desires!

I also offer payment plans leading up to your session- we can break up your investment weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly over time (up to 12-months) to help it fit in your budget.

I also offer a 10% additional savings when you opt to pay in full with booking for your $3,000 (or higher) Collection!

After your session, we can either plan a time to show you your photos (in-person OR over a Zoom call) so you only order the ones you LOVE (spoiler alert: everyone ends up loving a LOT more than they thought they would!). From there, I can help you with choosing your Collection, album, wall art, and other options. I keep the process as simple as possible so we can enjoy it and chose the best options for you and your home!

After we’ve finalized your order, I’ll get my team started on everything, from editing, ordering, quality checks, and packaging to ship everything out to you.
All said and done, this process can take between 3-6 weeks. I’ll update you with your tracking number(s) as soon as your products are on the way!

(If you have an important date like a birthday or anniversary coming up that you need your products in time for, please let me know as soon as possible!)

If you’re receiving digitals with your order, they’ll be delivered via email download as soon as I know you’ve received your products. I can send them sooner if you prefer, but I really feel that that draws away from the excitement of seeing your gorgeous photos in your album, wall art, and other products.
