Heads Up!!

Lulu and her owner were one of my recent favorite portrait sessions!

You may have noticed a few changes for Addicted over the last few months.

I’ve added Equine (horses) photo services to my business and amended Addicted Boudoir to Addicted PHOTOGRAPHY (hence the new spur on the high heel for my logo)!

Horses have always been in my blood- there’s no denying it! I was the horse-crazy kid in school who even RAN like a horse (I’d force myself to use a 3-beat gait to mimic a canter….), haha!

And I’ve always loved photography- I used to beg my parents for disposable cameras when I was little.

When I started Addicted Boudoir in 2019, I had been horseless for almost 4yrs, so horses weren’t a big part of my life at the time, but I had fallen in love with boudoir after doing my first (of several) photoshoots. I knew it was something I wanted to pursue and specialize in, so that’s what I’ve been doing ever since.

As much as I love boudoir and helping my awesome clients take some well-deserved time for themselves to reclaim their beYOUty and sexy, I’ve also been thinking for a couple of years now that I’d like to photograph horses and their owners as well, but I kept putting it on the back burner- always busy with a million other things in my business and personal lives.

This year, I finally said “SCREW IT.” and decided to add in Equine photoshoots to my services and I’m so glad I did! They’re the perfect opportunity for me to get out of the studio and challenge myself with new scenarios and subjects who don’t always want to cooperate haha!

I’ll still continue to offer boudoir photoshoots at my studio and outdoors (as requested) and my Equine sessions will cover Seniors, Memorial or “Rainbow Bridge” sessions, families, engagements/proposals, birth/gender announcements, Stallions, Sales, and of course lifestyle sessions just because!

I’ve also been honored to photograph the Lee-Mar Ranch Charity Barrel series just outside of Granite Falls this year (hosted by Wicked Midwest Performance Horses, Bailey Horejsi). I’ve been having a blast photographing so many amazing teams doing what they love!!
Lee-Mar Ranch Equestrian Center is our local therapeutic riding stable where I’ve spent many volunteer hours and also got me back into horses and five antagonizing years without them. Lee-Mar also board horses and host many great clinic and events! Check them out HERE!

I will be continuing to adjust my logo and wording on my facebook (@addictedphotogf) website, etc, and you can check out my Equine portfolio HERE: https://addictedphoto.pixieset.com/ (currently separate to better organize my barrel race galleries per event date).

If you’ve been considering a Boudoir or Equine (or combining the two for a badass western shoot!), feel free to contact me with the form on my website at: https://addictedboudoir.com/contact-us

One of my favorites from a recent Lee-Mar barrel race!
